• Visit the night market: The city's main night market operates near the railway station (Kanchanaburi Railway Station). It opens after 6:00 PM and runs until midnight. Here you can not only buy souvenirs and clothing, but most importantly — try a variety of Thai street food at low prices. Alcohol is not sold here, and there are almost no tables for sitting.
• Take a walk on the bridge over the River Kwai: Evening lighting makes the bridge especially atmospheric. Walking on it is free and available 24/7.
• Dine on the tourist street Mae Nam Kwai: Along this street and the embankment, there are many restaurants, cafes, and bars with views of the river. Here you can have a quiet dinner, drink a cocktail, or watch a sports match in a sports bar.
