How to get to the Tomb of Minh Mang from the center of Hue?

The Tomb of Minh Mang is located approximately 13 kilometers southwest of the center of Hue. You can get there independently in several ways:

• By rented transport: The most flexible option. You can rent a motorbike (from 100-150 thousand dong per day) or a car with a driver. There is parking on the complex grounds, cost — 2000 dong.
• By taxi: Convenient, but more expensive. A trip via apps like Grab or Gojek from the center will cost about from 200,000 dong one way. Agree on the price in advance if you hail a car on the street.
• With a tour: Many group and individual tours in Hue include visits to several imperial tombs, including Minh Mang's. This eliminates the hassle of transportation and navigation.

Public transport does not go directly to the tomb. The road by motorbike or taxi will take about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.
