What is the Hanoi metro schedule? What time does it open and close?

The Hanoi metro operates from 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Trains run at intervals of approximately 6-10 minutes, so you won't have to wait long.

This schedule is convenient for those planning trips in the first half of the day, but for evening city strolls or returning from dinner after 10 PM, the metro is no longer suitable. In this case, you will need to use other modes of transport: taxis (we recommend using the Grab app for fixed prices), buses, or motorbike taxis.

Given that the current metro lines cover few tourist areas, this mode of transport rarely becomes the main one for travelers. However, if you live near a station and plan a daytime trip, for example, to the Ba Dinh Square area, then the metro schedule will suit you quite well.
