Is it worth going on a round boat ride in Hoi An?

• You are vacationing in Hoi An for several days and have already seen the main attractions of the old town.
• You want to diversify your impressions and see another, rural Hoi An with coconut groves and quiet river landscapes.
• You are interested in local cultural traditions and unusual activities.
• You are traveling with children—they might enjoy the unusual boat and the opportunity to try rowing.

You can skip it if:

• You came to Hoi An for just one day, especially as part of a tour. Time will be tight anyway, and it's better to focus on the old town itself, its architecture, and atmosphere.
• You are looking exclusively for historical or architectural experiences. This is an entertainment attraction.
• You have a very limited budget, and riding regular boats in the city center seems more of a priority.

The ride lasts about 30-40 minutes and offers a chance to relax a bit from the hustle and bustle. The boatmen often show tricks and allow you to row yourself, adding interactivity.
