Is it worth buying electronics in Ho Chi Minh City?

No, there is no point in buying electronics in Vietnam. We visited and compared prices in many stores in different cities and repeatedly found that the selection and prices here are the same as in Russian chain stores and marketplaces, often even more expensive. Moreover, everything you buy here will be without warranty in Russia.
If you have a different belief or need to buy something urgently, we advise going to the chain electronics supermarket Dien may XANH (Green Machine). There are several such stores in Ho Chi Minh City, with one near the tourist area.
You can find Dien may XANH stores on Google Maps, and the store also has a website https://www.dienmayxanh.com/, but exclusively in Vietnamese.
You can learn more in our reliable and honest guide in the article Shopping in Ho Chi Minh City, where we detailed all the nuances of shopping.
