Food prices in Vietnam are very affordable, especially compared to Europe or Russia. In inexpensive local cafes, one dish, such as rice with chicken or Pho soup, costs from 35,000 dong (about 107 rubles). In tourist establishments, prices are higher — from 60,000 dong (183 rubles) per dish. For full meals:
- Minimum budget: from 150,000 dong (458 rubles) per day for three meals in local cafes.
- Comfortable budget: from 250,000 dong (764 rubles) per day, including a variety of dishes, drinks, and desserts.
- Luxury option: from 600,000 dong (1833 rubles) per day with seafood and alcohol in tourist restaurants.
Drinks are also cheap: beer in cafes — from 12,000 dong, fresh juices — from 30,000 dong. Street food, such as Banh Mi baguette, will cost only 8,000–25,000 dong.
