Where in Vietnam are the best beaches: in Nha Trang or Phan Thiet?

Both resorts have beaches of decent quality, but there are no perfect "bounty" beaches in either place. In Nha Trang, the main beach is within the city limits - it is long, with a wide sandy line, but it does not shine with cleanliness, although it is regularly cleaned. There are remote beaches with hotels - they are cleaner, but without infrastructure. In Phan Thiet, the beaches are concentrated in the Mui Ne area, stretching about 10 km, but their quality varies greatly - some sections have no sand at all, only concrete descents. The water is usually murky, large waves make swimming dangerous, but it is a paradise for surfers. South of Phan Thiet, there are cleaner beaches at expensive hotels. If you need really great beaches, it's best to go on vacation to Phu Quoc.
