Tourist information about Phan Thiet and MUI ne (Vietnam)
Phan Thiet (Phan Thiet, Phan Thiet also) is a city in the South of Vietnam on the coast of the South China sea, about 200 km from Ho Chi Minh city (Phan Thiet and MUI ne on the interactive map of Vietnam). The city's population – 350 000 people (in 2005). MUI ne (., MUI ne, Mui Ne is also the Ne people or Mounika) is a resort area, which stretches for miles along the sandy beach on the outskirts of Phan Thiet.
In fact, when it comes to travel Phan Thiet implied in the first place, MUI ne, Phan Thiet where the tourists nothing to do. MUI ne is called differently- resort, beach, Cape, Peninsula, city, but in fact the very town of MUI ne, located about 22 km from Phan Thiet's city centre is just a fishing village. However, the beaches and entire tourist infrastructure are located either in the village of MUI ne and in the city of Phan Thiet, on the coast between Antietam and MUI ne, which is called MUI ne beach (Mui Ne Beach).
So, Phan Thiet / MUI ne is one of the most popular if not the most popular resort of Vietnam among Russians. It is so popular that many local restaurants have a menu in Russian, in the streets everywhere across the signs in Russian language, excursions are conducted in Russian. In one of the local cafes, you can watch Russian movies, and many shops just outside the resort area is focused on Russian language and immigrants from the CIS.
The whole tourist area of MUI ne beach lies along the coast and hotels are located here, with rare exception, directly on the beach. Literally leaving the hotel you will find yourself on a sandy beach. The beach here is General, although it is conventionally divided between the hotels, and no one will forbid you to rest in any place, what you will like.
A lot of controversy is the quality of the beaches of MUI ne, especially on the Internet. Someone persistently proves that the beaches in MUI ne are worthless, and someone on the contrary says in the reviews, what a wonderful and snow-white beaches here. But as usual the truth is somewhere in the middle. There's no stretching to water the palm trees by the water, the sand white and fine as flour. In addition, often spoils the weather, namely the wind and the waves, which do not allow comfortable to swim and bring ashore debris from the sea. The same waves make the water unclear. At the same time, the beach here is very wide and long (great for walking along the shore), completely furnished (has sunbeds, water sports, directly on the beach facing cafes and restaurants, Board rentals and school, kite surfing), and, most importantly, is very close with most hotels in the resort area. There are, however, in this regard, another feature of the hotels that are directly on the beach, struggling to obstruct the way to the beach from the main road that runs through the whole resort area. This creates some inconvenience to those who choose to stay in more economical hotels, located across the street from the beaches, but to find the passages between the hotels is still possible, and in some cases you can just go "brazen" through the territory of another hotel.
Here was created and is actively developing the necessary infrastructure for tourists, although nightlife while the ne abundance (but they are). There are many restaurants, bars, massage parlors, and the area has several natural, historical and cultural attractions. On the beach you can enjoy water sports and recreation, and land for lovers there is a Golf course. With specific regard to night life, in the ne there is a few Nightclubs-bars and live music, but in recent years there has been a slight decline, which were believed to be associated with the influx of tourists of the older generation of Russia. Here are some famous night clubs in MUI ne: Wax Bar on the beach (68 Nguyen Dinh Chieu), Dragon Beach with beach access, DJ Station is one of the most progressive places (120C Nguyen Dinh Chieu), Snow Club - a place with quiet music (109 Nguyen Dinh Chieu), Ocean Republic - still one of the most advanced (120 Nguyen Dinh Chieu).
Also MUI ne is a Mecca for Windsurfing, kiting, and, to some extent, surfing. It is believed that there the best conditions to practice these sports throughout Asia. Thanks to the surfers and kiters, this place has become so popular and has today become a popular resort.
Phan Thiet yields the palm to the popularity of the most popular in Vietnam, resort in Nha Trang, at the same time, many tourists face the choice of where to go in Nha Trang or Phan Thiet and MUI ne:
Phan Thiet is a bit more relaxed in terms of entertainment and nightlife than Nha Trang. Nha Trang is quite a big city and the hotels are located directly in the city (with the exception of the island, of which there are very few), in Phan Thiet, the resort area located 7 kilometers from the city and inhabited mainly by tourists and employees of tourism businesses and hotels are located right on the beach. The author of the site is such that Phan Thiet more democratic and more of a resort, there are more young people coming for water sports, more tourists. Nha Trang is the feeling of the city-resort, Phan Thiet is just the resort on the beach. In General, not to be mistaken with a choice, read the information on both resorts, reviews and choose what you closer in spirit and lighter in the pocket.
