Within the mountains there are natural caves, in and around which were built Buddhist shrines and temples. Mount Thoison today is a popular destination with pilgrims.

The Museum of da Nang (Museum of Danang)
Don't confuse this Museum with the Museum of Cham. The Museum of da Nang is something like our local history museums. It was re-opened and updated in a new place in April 2011, and in the future may become one of the most interesting places of the city, yet he is little known among tourists. Today you can see a lot of interesting things, but the popularity and fame he's still inferior to the Cham Museum, although it should be frankly admitted that it is much more interesting than the last.
The Museum is housed in a modern three-storey building, which was attached to the remains of a fortress built in the early 19th century. The Museum has more than 2500 exhibits in the form of photographs and vintage items. Some of the exhibition show the whole scene of life of the people of Central Vietnam. There is also another Museum (Military zone 5 museum or Museums Quan khu 5) dedicated to the defense of the fifth military zone during a confrontation between the French and the American-Vietnam war. The Museum consists of 12 exhibition halls and on the street exposed samples of major military equipment (tanks, planes, artillery, etc.) of French and American manufacture.
While every Vietnamese is my duty must be considered to visit the Museum of the great leader, for tourists, this Museum seems to be little interest. But the Museum of the fifth military zone more interesting to a wide range of tourists and is definitely worth a visit.

The Nui Son Tra Peninsula
This Peninsula is known as "monkey mountain" (Monkey Mountain). He is considered one of the most interesting sites and attractions near da Nang, although, frankly speaking, whether in da Nang for any other worthy attractions of this place's attraction, no one would have remembered.
On the Peninsula is the mountain, on which there is an observation deck (former helipad), with views of the Bay and Hai Van pass. Also interesting and picturesque way along the road that encircles the Peninsula. Here is a few hotels and the beach. On the southern shore of the Peninsula, on a hillside, a giant statue of Buddha standing in a Lotus flower (Linh Ung) and the temple. This statue can be seen even from the marble mountains. The advantages of the Peninsula are exhausted.
To visit the Peninsula will definitely be interesting to those who know how to ride a bike and ready to travel on it on rented vehicles, but Hiking is not really much to do unless you are willing to do a 30-kilometer path around the perimeter of the island on foot. The Mountain Pass Of Hai Van Pass
Hai Van pass (Hai Van Pass) runs through the Truong Son mountain 30 kilometers North of da Nang at an altitude of 496 metres. Before using the pass held the only road their da Nang North to hue, Vinh, etc. in the direction of Hanoi, but in 2005 through the mountains was "drilled" the tunnel of Hai Van Pass Tunnel with a length of 6.2 km, and most of the traffic is now passing through a much more direct route through it. However, via a tunnel do not allow motorcycles and bicycles.
The pass come in order to admire the mountains and the South China sea landscapes. On the top of the pass, in the place where most tourists stay, organized a small market, you can eat in the café and climb back up the mountain even higher. But in addition to landscapes on the pass there is still something to see. A lot of defensive fortifications like bunkers left on the pass since the war. They can be seen up close. Many of them remain traces of bullets during attacks.

These sources are located quite far from da Nang, more than 60 kilometers along the way in hue or in a national Park Batima. They are little known among tourists, mostly locals. Usually they visit in the form of a stop for rest along the way from da Nang to hue. It makes sense to combine a trip to the springs with a trip to the mountain pass of Hai Van Pass.
The area of the sources is quite large and consists of many framed stone pools of natural origin. They can swim (the water is not too cold), sunbathe, have a massage, eat, or drink beer, all for that there. Surrounded by dense forests on the slopes of the two mountains, between which and stretched the springs.
