How to get to Hua hin from Bangkok
Bangkok is the main gateway through which tourists and travelers come to Thailand and Hua hin in particular. Despite the presence near Hua hin its own airport, yet there are no international flights (and are unlikely, despite repeated statements by the authorities), so almost all tourists and travelers in Hua hin come directly from Bangkok airport, and from other cities and resorts in the country with a stopover in Bangkok. Next, about all the ways how to get there from Bangkok and Hua hin airports.

From Suvarnabhumi airport (Suvarnabhumi)
Suvarnabhumi international airport (Suvarnabhumi) is the main international airport of the country, and almost all tourists arrive here. And of course, easy access to Hua hin town by local transport or taxi.
A taxi from the airport costs from 3000 baht (see currency of Thailand and the exchange rate). Outside the airport you can bargain cheaper, but airport infrastructure is such that to go beyond the airport is quite difficult and far. From Hua hin to the airport by taxi will cost much cheaper.
You can book a transfer in advance so the driver will meet you at the airport with a sign:How does a transfer bookingDetails >Find the right routeBooking a transfer onlineThe driver meets you at the airport or at the station
Bus firms Roong Rueang from the airport travel to 7:30, 9:30, 11:30, 13:30, 15:30, 17:30 and 18:30, duration 3 hours, cost from 305 baht. Back from Hua hin airport go to 06:00, 08:00, 10:00, 12:00, 14:00, 16:00, 18:00.
To find at the airport offices of these buses on the ground floor at gate 8. There is a stand ticket, and there need to be suitable for planting if you have purchased the electronic ticket in advance.
In Hua hin they arrive/depart at Hua hin bus station (bus station Hua hin on the map), which is located a few kilometers from the city center and the tourist area, but the bus runs through the centre and you can ask to drop you off there. If you miss the center, then from the bus station you can return by taxi Songhtaew for 20 baht (see details Hua hin taxis and their routes).
Check the schedule and cost, as well as if you need to buy an e-ticket (we recommend to do it in advance at least the day before travel) can through the search form:
From don Muang airport (Don Muang)
Bangkok airport don Muang is also international, but tourists from Russia and CIS rarely come here because here are only flights of the budget airlines from neighboring countries in Asia.
Unfortunately, to get to Hua hin from don Muang is not as easy and convenient as from Suvarnabhumi. Taxi will cost 2000 baht. Find a car you can, as usual, when you exit the airport or on the Desk at the airport, or book via the search form.
According to unconfirmed information there are also minivans cost 200 baht, 4 hours, but not much to rely on. Therefore, if you want to get economical, it is best to reached by minivan or bus 510, 29, 59, 187, 538 to Victory Monument in Bangkok and transfer to Hua hin (180 baht, leaving every half hour).
Another option is free callbase (free for those who have tickets, even on arrival, for the rest 100 baht) to get to Suvarnabhumi airport and from there by a direct bus to the resort (see above).
This is the cheapest way to get, but also the longest. Trains run at least 12 times a day and cost 44 baht for third class seats on our trains (see more about the types of cars and travel by train in Thailand). To take more expensive tickets and a class above makes no sense, because to go for just 3-4 hours. The schedule can be viewed here - http://www.railway.co.th/checktime/. Tickets can be purchased directly at the station before sending, in advance purchase is not necessary.
The dispatch takes place from the main station in Bangkok Hua Lamphong (see more about Hua Lamphong station and how to get it here). You can also sit on stations or Sam Sen Bang Sue Junction, but not all trains stop at them. The Bang Sue Junction station more convenient as it can be reached on metro Bangkok, here is the schedule of dispatch with her http://www.railway.co.th/checktime/. With d/W station in the area of Thon Buri on the other side of the river will also be sent two trains a day at 07:30 and 13:05, the price of 42 baht.
In Hua hin trains arrive at the railway station in the city centre, very close to the tourist district (railway station Hua hin on the map). The walk from there is not difficult on foot.
On the tourist bus from Khao San road
If you are staying in a tourist area of Bangkok, Khao San road, the most convenient and fastest way for you would be to use the tourist buses that go directly from the district. To buy tickets for them at any travel Agency from 400 baht. The schedule often changes, so you should figure out on the spot.
Keep in mind that it can be both a van and a big bus, besides to go you can and to transfer, ie just you in the van to deliver to one of the bus stations and there seated on the bus. All the details better check with the seller, although they do not always tell the truth just to sell you a ticket.
Minivan from Victory Monument
Victory Monument is a large natural ultimate minibuses in all directions. It is located in the Ratchathewi district and reachable by BTS Bangkok the Skytrain to the Victory Monument BTS station (Victory Monument read more about here).
Miniveny there are in different areas, and to find the right have to ask a local, they will be happy to help. In Hua hin you can go for 180 baht, the bus leaves every half hour in the path of 3-4 hours.
In Hua hin Mdivani arrive and depart in the center of the city near the tower with the town clock (Parking minivans to Hua hin on the map). From there to the tourist area and near the hotels on foot reach.

From the North bus station of Bangkok's Mor Chit and the southern station of Sai Tai Mai also during the day go minivans cost 180-200 baht approximately every half hour.
By bus from the southern bus terminal
Every 20 minutes from southern bus terminal of Bangkok's Sai Tai Mai to Hua hin depart large buses cost from 175 baht, 3 hours. To use this station is inconvenient because it is difficult to get to her, read more about Sai Tai Mai here. The only case when it can be convenient to use this station if you are coming from a different region with a stopover here.
