How to get to Hua hin
From Russia and other countries in Hua hin is best reached via the Bangkok airport Suvarnabhumi. There you can fly direct flights or low-cost indirect flights from Moscow, St. Petersburg and some regions. In Hua hin from Suvarnabhumi Bangkok airport
On the bus. The resort Hua hin from Bangkok airport Suvarnabhumi can be reached by direct bus firms Roong Rueang. Taxi from Bangkok airport to Hua hin will cost 3000-4000 baht. Interestingly, the return trip to the airport from the city can be found at half the price.
In Hua hin from Bangkok airport don Muang
To reach Hua hin from the old airport don Muang is not as easy and convenient as from Suvarnabhumi. Taxi will cost 3000 baht. Find a car you can, as usual, when you exit the airport or on the Desk at the airport.
According to unconfirmed information there are also minivans cost 200 baht, 4 hours. If you do not find a direct van and need to get economically, the best way to get on the van or bus 510, 29, 59, 187, 538 to Victory Monument in Bangkok and transfer to Hua hin.
In Hua hin from Bangkok
To get to Hua hin from Bangkok can be done in several ways:
This is the cheapest and very convenient way to get here from Bangkok. Trains depart from the railway station Bangkok Hualamphong train, and some trains coming from Thonburi station. It's quite good and very comfortable option to get to Hua hin, but there is one difficulty: buses to Hua hin leave from the southern bus terminal of Bangkok (Sai Tai Mai), which is not so easy to reach (have to use a taxi or city bus).
Buses depart from Bangkok from 4:00 to 22:00 hours, every 20-40 minutes. The journey time is about 3 and a half hours. The ticket costs about 170 baht depending on the company and the class of the bus. From Hua hin buses start to depart at 03:00. The advance ticket purchase is not necessary, just come to the station, find the ticket office and buy a ticket on the next flight.

minivans to Hua hin depart every 30 minutes from 04:00 to 19:30 from the bus station Victory Monument in Bangkok. The trip costs 180 baht. To get to Victory Monument is much easier than to the southern bus terminal, also minivans are faster than buses. But the problem is that with a lot of Luggage in a minivan to get into will fail, or will have to pay for extra space to put a suitcase. If you go to Hua hin light – is ideal.
To find minivans to Hua hin in the chaos around the ring Victory Monument, it is best to ask passers-by or drivers in other minivans, or stand entertainment center, Century Movie Plaza.

Another place where the minivans arrive from Bangkok - station vans on the street Sa Song Rd (station minivans to Hua hin on the map). Hence the minivans go to Victory Monument, on the southern terminal of Bangkok and the Northern terminal, Mor Chit (see the bus station of Bangkok). Go from 4:00 to 19:00 every half hour.
A taxi from Bangkok will cost about 2600 baht (can be cheaper if you haggle) from Bangkok international airport is about the same price.
In Hua hin from other cities of Thailand
To get to Hua hin by train from Singapore, Malaysia, Bangkok (see above), Surat Thani, Chumphon and other cities of the country to the South of Hua hin. From the cities to the North (Chiang Mai, Pattaya, Chiang Rai , etc.) will have to get with the change of train in Bangkok.

On the ferry
From 1 January 2017 there is a new way to get from Pattaya to Hua hin and back: resumed ferry service between the two popular resorts, interrupted for many years. The fast ferry is an hour and a half, the cost is 1,200 baht one way. Tickets can only be purchased while on the piers, but in the future promise to sell them online. From Pattaya ferries depart from Bali Hai pier, which is located almost in the center of town and walkable from most tourist areas (the pier Pattaya on the map). Transportation to Hua hin, than to move on
Hua hin can be successfully and inexpensively to travel on taxis called Songthaew. Here they are virtually indistinguishable from Pattaya. Payment for the trip is 20 baht. In the evening, after approximately 18 hours, taxis stop running between Hua hin and waiting for tourists to let them down like a taxi.
