Langkawi craft complex (Kompleks Kraf Langkawi) – a Museum, gallery and gift shop at the same time. The whole complex is set in a large beautiful building, which, unfortunately, is quite far from the resorts of the island, on the other side.
Objectively, free Museum exhibition here is very humble and informative, is only one room of 11. But the rest of the halls in which the products of local craftsmen, will be interesting. There is a workshop for sewing clothes, including traditional wedding, batik (painted fabric), musical instruments, jewelry and costume jewelry, glassware, glassblower workshop (separate building), and much more. The range of products and Souvenirs is very large, and most unique. All made by hand. But the prices are correspondingly high. By the way, in some rooms you can even see the hand-made production, and to participate in workshops (25 ringgit).
Visit the craft complex can be yourself, a tour is not required. Go here better for a few hours. For the convenience of visitors there is free Parking and a café.
🕐 Working time: from 09:00 to 18:00
💵 Entrance fee / ticket price: free
🚶 How to get there: the complex is located in the North of the island near the beach of the Black sand (craft complex on the map).
